Rebekah Sisk

Raised on the Monterey Peninsula of California's central coast, I'm an artist who has a passion for wildlife portraits and impressionist landscapes, First Nation style form line painting and photography.

My main body of work is in the medium of pastels, oil and acrylic paintings.  I have exhibited at the Monterey Museum of Art, the Santa Cruz Art League, the Davenport Art Gallery, the Pacific Art League and the Pacific Grove Art Center. 

In November of 2012, a painting of mine, "Sasquatch: The Encounter", was recently featured on the CBS Sunday Morning News during a piece on Cryptozoology.  My work has been featured in various articles,  the most recent being the Bigfoot Field Reporter and collected by such celebrities as Mark Ordesky, executive producer of "The Lord of the Rings" feature film and the soon to be released "Exists".  My work was recently featured in the online E-zine, "Informed Collector" in February of 2013.  http://canvoo.com/artists/Rebekah-Sisk

Recently, my painting "Dragon Rising", was featured in Dr. Karl Shuker's new book, "Dragons in Zoology, Cryptozoology, and Culture".

I'm an artist member of the Pastel Society of the West Coast, the Santa Cruz Art League, the Pacific Art League and the Pacific Grove Art Center.
